Alden was born and raised in Compton. In high school he simultaneously developed a love for vintage and high fashion. Realizing the correlation between the two he scoured the web and shops around Los Angeles to create his own versions of runway looks. This eventually led to the development of a series of vintage shops. The current form being Cool and Casual Studios.
ABOUT
Cool and Casual Studios was born out of a need for self-expression. Over the years we have refined our approach, gaining an appreciation for natural fibers and textiles such as wool, linen, silk, and cotton. Today most people feel there are everyday clothes and special occasion clothes. We say detail in everyday because we think everyday is special. Don't save that silk shirt for dinner or going out. Tuck it in your favorite jeans and wear it whenever, wherever.
